Hey, hey my people! So much going on these days that I can hardly keep up with myself. Right now though, I’m in the process of writing new songs for the New Year and I’m so excited about it. I was in the studio last night creating one of the songs and the outcome was…let’s just say it will move you!

 I have also noticed how much love I’m getting on the video and song Your Smile. I thank you so much for that. What’s funny is I wrote that song back in the late 90’s in my car on the way to work. When I wrote it I wasn’t in love or involved with anyone at the time. I guess it made me think about what type of love I wanted for my life and then I thought about my parents. They have been together for 53 years and they still kiss, hold hands and spend that quality time together. Very cute so I ended up writing the song for them. The great thing was, when I let them hear it back then, they just started slow dancing in the middle of the living room floor. It was great! So thanks again for the love on Your Smile. Perfect timing because now someone makes me cheese like that tiger on the cheese crunch bag LOL.

 A lot of you know that I’m a lover of love songs and I have to at least put a couple new ones out there. So how about you help me write a song. What do you think? Check it out, send me messages about what type of love song you would like to hear. Tell me what the motivation is behind it. It can be a love song of heartbreak (we hate those, but they make great songs lol), a love song between you and God, love song of finding that special someone. Basically, whatever love is to you and what you want to hear, let me know. One day I’m going to write a love song based on the Song of Solomon. For those of you who aren’t bible readers LOL…that’s a book in the bible…Old Testament.  If you want to read and experience some real romance and love…READ IT…you will be blessed LOL!

 Oh yeah, also send me what your favorite love song of all time is. You know, that song that makes you ooozzzzzz with excitement every time you hear it. My favorite love song of all time is…hmm…that’s a tough one. I don’t know, help me out ya’ll. Actually this one might not be my fav of all time, but I love “Tell Me if You Still Care” by the SOS band. I swoon every time I hear it!

 Okay, get at me with your love songs! Help a sister write a hit!

I’m a very visual person and I realize that people may like a song when they hear it, but when they see a visual behind the song they tend to like it even more. Well I’m that way too. I also know that if the visual doesn’t compliment the song, it can throw something off just a bit. So I’m just grateful that the still pictures have told the story of the song I wrote and not only that, but you all enjoy both the song and visual. That means a lot!

Rodney Elliot, you made my song come to life and I thank you so much for that. It was easy doing it with you since our friendship and love has grown since the 80’s. Knowing you and having you in my life definitely makes me smile.

Everyone, my publicist has me working HARD!!!! LOL but I’m loving it. He pushes me to be better and to put out my best, so far I think we’re on the right track.

I’m ready to explode with excitement because on tomorrow I will be able to share the video for my song, Your Smile, with all of you.

On this past Saturday, along with my team, I had the greatest pleasure of working with my good friend Rodney Elliot to make the video and song come to life. We had the best time shooting each scene and we laughed ourselves to being tired…well at least I was exhausted afterwards LOL. I’m just so grateful that we were able to make it happen and the weather was perfect!

I couldn’t wait to write this post today, I was up most of the night anticipating it. In fact I got out of bed twice and poured a glass of juice with the intention of grabbing my laptop and telling you all about it, but I decided, while my laptop was booting up, to wait till today. Well its today(!) and I really can’t wait to tell you about this new concept for my upcoming novel. WOW! That’s all I can say. I think, no I KNOW you will love this new concept, it’s both new, exciting and scandalous!

 I started writing it already and you should see the controversy unfolding in front of my eyes, it’s almost as if the story is writing itself, I find myself wondering what will happen next… and I am the one writing it!

 Want to know what it’s about? Do you? You know you want too! I’m excited just thinking about telling you about it and time is running short.

Author, Singer, Songwriter Tre Alee Releases New First Video- Sweet Sexation

To commemorate her newest novel (2in1), Straight With Options & And So Shall You Reap, Tre Alee has also released two new singles. Sweet Sexation and Change (She wrote it but didn’t sing it) are the two singles with the former going with Straight With Options and the later with And So Shall You Reap. She has just released her first video for the single Sweet Sexation.

Boston, Massachusetts- October 13th 2009 Today, Singer, Songwriter and Author Tre Alee has released her first video, for the single Sweet Sexation. The song, Sweet Sexation, is about a couple, who once had a perfect relationship, but now is left asking themselves, ‘what went wrong?’

Emotionally upset, Kira bridges (The character in the book Straight With Options), finds herself becoming more and more attached to her best friend, another woman. Never being one to consider herself gay, even after the kiss, Kira is torn between what once was and what could be.

“I wanted this done the right way,” says singer, songwriter and author Tre Alee. “I decided to go with still pictures, for the art of it, each one adding to the song in a different way, each one depicting the emotions Kira felt. This video depicts the turmoil she felt as she confronts the love for her ‘man’ and the love for her best friend as the two, somehow, became the same. I love this video for its emotional depth as well as for being hot and I know my fans will too!”

There is a little buzz of excitement for my team and me, as of Tuesday, October 13^th, the video for Sweet Sexation will be released for your viewing pleasure. Sweet Sexation is also the single for my novel Straight with Options, released July 2009. You will be able to view the video on my personal site trealee.com as well as other sites such as MySpace, YouTube, Facebook and the list goes on and on.

I have to applaud my team for doing an outstanding job at making this video possible. If I say so myself it’s engaging, sensual, and sexy with a little controversy thrown in. It was important for me to depict Sweet Sexation in the way the song was meant to reflect Straight with Options. I am ecstatic that we captured all that we needed in order for viewers to enjoy it thoroughly.

The process leading up to, during and completing the video was a lot of work, but work well worth the outcome. Everyone from the models to the photographer to the director, were all enthusiastic even though we were all up early in the morning for about eight hours straight. For me, it’s a beautiful reality watching a vision come to life. I’m proud that the vision we all had will be seen by so many on tomorrow.

Today has been extremely emotional for me in so many ways that I can’t begin to explain. The biggest heartache is just receiving word that someone dear to me just passed away from pancreatic cancer. The news has me so saddened not just because I lost a dear friend, but because I have come across this type of loss seven times in the past seven years.

 This is another eye opener for me in the sense that telling those you love how you feel is so important. Simple enough yes, but sometimes it’s not that easy if there are wounds left open. Basically all I’m saying is to spread love and mean it. Try desperately to mend the brokenness and bandage the wounds by allowing love to heal them. Call that person that you haven’t spoken to in years to tell them that you care. Since technology is what it is today, send an email or text message if calling is too much of a strain. But no matter what, say a kind word of love, encouragement and appreciation to those who mean a great deal to you.

 Life isn’t promised to us for a reason, so live life in kindness, love, prosperity in heart and speaking life into your life and those around you. Most importantly, speak love into the One that created the beauty of this day for us all. Take a moment and just tell God how much you love Him and allow that love to trickle down to everyone in your life. A kind word, an apology, a warm smile or expressing love goes a long way.
