I wasn’t going to write another blog today, until I heard the recorded broadcast from my friend Pastor Candace Hardnett. That woman spoke something that was so profound to me and it blew my mind and boosted my faith and expectations higher than ever.
Pastor Candace expounded on the fact that there are haters in all of our lives, but when she gave an analogy of haters it pushed the dial up on my private and public praise. So I have to share it with you.
She stated that she has two puppies and as we all know, if there is something on the ground that is appealing to the puppy, more than likely the dog will tear that item apart or play with it. She mentioned that, she doesn’t put her prized possessions or what is of importance to her on the ground in her puppies reach because she knows that it may be destroyed by them. So what she does is move the item or items to a higher place out of the dogs reach. Say hypothetically she moves her possession from the ground to the tabletop; the puppies are still crafty enough to reach what has them so intrigued on the table. Once she observes that they can still get to it, she then moves it to an even higher place. Do you get where I’m going?
Pastor Candace put it so clearly that, God will not put any of us, His prized possessions or the ones He loves so much on the ground in order for the haters or the enemy to get to us and tear us apart. When a hater comes, God elevates us to another level out of the reach of the enemy and of course if the enemy still tries, God elevates us even higher for His glory. So in other words, all the haters or enemies are doing are making God take us higher out of their reach. The enemy doesn’t want any of us to prosper spiritually, naturally, financially or in any areas of our lives. Pastor Candace emphatically said, “Welcome the haters” and I understand what she means. The more they try to break us down or talk against, the more God lifts us up higher.
My heart is overjoyed by that not just because God thinks enough of me to keep raising me above my adversary, but I’m excited that He just loves me that much! That despite my shortcomings, my mistakes, my good or my bad, He sees something in me worth loving and elevating higher. And the crazy thing is, while the haters are trying to pull you and me down, they are only keeping themselves where they want us, ON THE GROUND! God’s elevation is greater than any man’s or woman’s accolades because once He brings you to a certain plateau, no enemy on earth or beneath the earth can bring you down.
So I say this, rejoice in your prosperity and where God is about to take you. Let the haters come and the enemies try and break you, because all they are doing is causing God to raise you up. My expectancy of what God is doing in my life and going to do have now doubled. My eyes are looking daily for something great and even greater to happen!
