I bask in the way music makes me feel and how I’m rendered vulnerable once I perform a song privately or publicly. I’m passionate about allowing lyrics to form into melodies that will fondle the hearts and minds of those who listen to my heart. I birth lyrical components as a means of letting others hear and see my love, my pain, my struggle and my joy. Yesterday when our day began with sadness, I wondered Who’s to Blame for the silly disagreement we had. As I continued to ponder if it was your fault or mine, it no longer remained relevant. My heart began to long for you and I was On A Mission to do all I could to see Your Smile once again. I don’t want you to Stay Gone for another second, minute or hour so please make your way back home to me. Right here in my loving embrace is where you belong.
