At an early age I was taught to give honor to where honor is due. “A Delta Woman Is.” is my way of giving honor to Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, for the tremendous support Delta has shown me over the years.
The song started out to be a marketing tool to assist in promoting the Delta 2010 – 2011 Celebrity Calendar, but now it has become bigger than that. It is my tribute to a phenomenal sorority and a group of women who are my inspirations and of course, God’s special chosen ones. I especially want to make mention of Norfolk Plymouth County Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., who have been my greatest Delta supporters. I give to each of you my deepest gratitude and love.
Although I am not a Delta, I am humbled by the opportunity to give back to an exceptional group of women just a small portion of what Delta has given to me.
